Official support ended
Crystal Dynamics said Update 2.8 on March 31 2023 was the last content drop, and that all official support would end on September 30 2023.
Removed from sale
The studio's FAQ and IGN both reported that digital purchases would stop on September 30 2023. Crystal Dynamics said existing owners would keep single-player and multiplayer access.
Crystal Dynamics published a final FAQ stating that Marvel's Avengers would receive no further content after Update 2.8 (March 31 2023) and that official support would end on September 30 2023. From that date the game was no longer sold digitally.
Unlike always-online titles that go dark when servers stop, Crystal Dynamics said single-player and multiplayer would remain available to people who already owned a copy. IGN covered the delisting and the final discount. Live-service updates and customer support stopped.
